Hi EDTL,
My name is Lauren and I'm a junior at BGSU. I'm an early childhood education major and I'm also working on my minor in special education. I love to read, watch movies, and just like to have a good time. I just recently learned how to sew and crochet, which has turned into a stress relieving activity. I'm originally from Marion, which is an hour south of Bowling Green. Although I miss living at home, Bowling Green has turned into my new home. I came to BGSU to get my bachelor's in early childhood education, but I'm getting so much more out of this than I had planned. I would love to learn more about the computer and learn how to use it in the classroom when I become a teacher. I think using technology in the classroom in very important and it becomes more of a helping hand than a negative in the classroom. I love it when professors use powerpoint or some internet tool in the classroom. I am really excited about what the course has to offer me and am looking forward to the rest of the semester.
